Actividad 1: Introduction and Initial Reflection
E-Portfolio Creation and Initial Reflection
We are implementing an e-portfolio this semester for certain sections of Spanish 1060. In this first activity, you will create your FLL e-portfolio using Digication embedded in Collab, using the online training tutorials here: Digication ePortfolio Tutorials.
Once you have accessed the Spanish 1060 Template and have made it your own,
you will post your initial introduction, reflection, and vision for the course in the About Me (or Home) page on the Home page > Introducción and reflexión inicial.
Write this information about yourself in English keeping the following questions in mind.
- Who are you and where are you from?
- How long has it been since your last Spanish class?
- Why did you choose Spanish considering the many other languages offered at U.Va.?
- How will you contribute to creating a positive learning environment for yourself and your peers?
- What are your goals for the end of Spanish 1060?
Now, visualize yourself at the end of the semester in a brief paragraph, describe what you see, hear, and feel in your ideal situation. Some possible questions to consider are: What were my greatest accomplishments in this course? In what ways did I change or impact myself or others? What was I most enthusiastic and passionate about?
Now, think about how you can contribute to this course. Are you a good language learner? What are your strengths and weaknesses as a language learner (speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary, culture, etc)? How might you address your weaknesses this semester? What can I do to support your learning?
This introduction and initial reflection should be 3-5 paragraphs.
When you are finished please submit this assignment.
